I first created a personal Twitter page on the 1st February 2008. A short
time later, I also created one for GMHBA Health Insurance.
Twitter has been described as a micro-blogging tool. However I believe it's
use is half customer service and half conversation. The customer service
aspect is quite straightforward. You can announce every innovation of new
product relevant to your business.
With luck your post (Tweet) might even be re-Tweeted or repeated on other
peoples' Twitter pages. The conversational aspect is important too as you can
create useful networks and gain insights into your niche that may not
otherwise be on your rader.
